Leah, you have the right idea. Since we are 51% of population and it was the Republican Party who championed Suffrage - we have a tradition here. We ned more republican women in the Senate. I am so ready to light the fire for more of us in power.

This is an insightful and informative article. Has the RNC corrected this on the website? I would think they would if they want to enhance the status of women in the party. I have been hearing that there is a new look at women in the republican party. (Considering we are 51% of the population it's about time.) The new female leadership in the party is a breath of fresh air - it helps all women regardless of party. It helps our country.

I hope next time I go to GOP.com I am pleasantly surprised.

Skyla, this is very well written & I have to agree 100%. The RNC has not made it a point to celebrate the good female base that we have. With voter turnout getting more & more apathetic this IS the time to light a fire under the women (& all voter really) who are feeling disenfranchised. They need to know our tradition here & that it is one to be proud of.
